Attention Seniors:
The Phil Delta Kappa International Golden Crescent Chapter is offering a $500 scholarship to an outstanding high school senior who intends to major in education. The application is available in the Guidance Office's Scholarship File under the March 15 deadline section.

Attention Juniors:

The regular deadline to register for the ACT college entrance test is this Friday. The test date is April 4th.

Attention Key Clubbers. There will be a key club meeting this Thursday in the study hall room. The meeting will be held at 7:30. If you cannot attend please stop by Mrs.Reynolds room for an agenda and t sign up for upcoming events.

The Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary Foundation is offering two scholarships; one for $2,500 and the other for $1,000. The applicant must ranked in the top 1/3 of the senior class, have applied to a specific college, university, community or junior college, trade, or professional school ,and have no direct relationship to a Rotarian or Honorary Rotarian (child or grandchild by blood or by adoption). Application information is available in the Guidance Office's Scholarship File under the March 15 deadline section.

There will be a brief meeting on Thursday after school in the auditorium for anyone interested in being on the crew for the upcoming spring musical, The Wedding Singer. There are crew spots available for costumes, makeup, props, publicity, house, and stage crew. If you cannot attend, please see Bridget Crawford.

The boys freshman basketball team is in the championship game of their tournament tonight at 7 in Vermillion. The team is 18-0 and have been lead through this incredible season by Micheal Pavlik and Justin Seffernick.

There will be a mandatory AFS officer meeting Wednesday morning in the Media Center at 7:30 AM.

There will be a brief meeting in Mr. Moeller's room today after school.

Attention all senior NHS members:

There will be a meeting this Friday, February 27th during seminar in Mr. Frew's room. This meeting is for current NHS members only, as we will be discussing service projects.

Here is an announcement for the girls and boys swim team:

Congratulations to the girls and boys swim team as they competed this past weekend at the District Tournament at CSU! The boys swam a great meet and just missed qualifying for the state meet by seven tenths of a second. The girls team is sending four of its members to the state meet. Paige Ferber qualified in the 50 free, Stephanie Thomas qualified in the 50 and 100 freestyle, and Meridith Hauck qualified in the 200 and 500 freestyle. Additionally, the girls relay team of Annie Camerino, Paige Ferber, Meredith Hauck, and Stephanie Thomas placed second in both the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and were two tenths of a second away from being considered for All-American status in their 200. The girls will compete this weekend at the state meet in Canton. Congratulations and good luck!
