Here is an announcement for the girls and boys swim team:

Congratulations to the girls and boys swim team as they competed this past weekend at the District Tournament at CSU! The boys swam a great meet and just missed qualifying for the state meet by seven tenths of a second. The girls team is sending four of its members to the state meet. Paige Ferber qualified in the 50 free, Stephanie Thomas qualified in the 50 and 100 freestyle, and Meridith Hauck qualified in the 200 and 500 freestyle. Additionally, the girls relay team of Annie Camerino, Paige Ferber, Meredith Hauck, and Stephanie Thomas placed second in both the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and were two tenths of a second away from being considered for All-American status in their 200. The girls will compete this weekend at the state meet in Canton. Congratulations and good luck!

    Congratulations to all of those competing this weekend. It was such an honor to watch them swim their fastest at the District Meet held at CSU this past weekend. All of these girls are very fast, and though the decision to take four alternates is a little bit ridiculous, I must admit it is fabulous to say that I am part of this team, and I will miss everyone so much after the season comes to a close. I love this team like they were my family and they will swim their best at this meet. GOOD LUCK GIRLS!!
