Please don't stop the music! The dancing continues on Friday, November 20. The senior class is sponsoring a mixer dance from 7:30 to 10:00. Tickets will be on sale for $5 presale and $8 at the door. So grab your dancing shoes and favorite generational attire and get ready to "Dance Through the Decades' on November 20. Hope to see everyone there!

The Class Clash is back! It's a friendly yearlong class competition for spirit. The homecoming floats were a great start to the competition. The sophomores pulled through for the first Class Clash victory of the year. The second competition will be at the upcoming Dance Through the Decades on November 20. The competition will be to see which class buys the most $5 presale tickets. The winning class will be awarded with the Spirit Sword and the honor of second Class Clash winner! So get your friends together and buy presale tickets to support your class.

Attention Seniors: Jostens will be here to take your graduation package orders on Wednesday, November 11 from 1:30 to 3:15 in the Wagar Lobby. Order your graduation announcements and cap and gown packages on this day. Extra order packets are available in the main office.

Attention Speech and Debate: The bus for this weekend's tournament at Vermillion leaves at 7:30. Please be on time or you will be left behind.

Congratulations, the Pirate Football Team is taking it to the playoffs! Rocky River will play Toledo Central Catholic tonight at 7:30 at Toledo Central Catholic. Tickets are available in the Activities Office today until 3:00. During this time you can also buy a playoff tee shirt for $10.00. Presale tickets are $7. Tickets at the door will be $9.

Attention Girls' Gymnastics Team Members: First practice is today from 3:30-5:00 at Magnificat. Practice will begin with a meeting in Room 119. Gymnasts can enter Magnificat by the gym and proceed to classroom 119. Please contact Coach Leneghan at 2164764967 with any questions or concerns.

Attention Seniors: Any senior wishing to process applications with a November 15 deadline needs to have transcript request forms, envelopes, and secondary school forms turned into the Guidance Office by this Friday, November 6. There will be a Science Olympiad meeting every Monday after school in the Computer Lab. Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to attend.

If you have ever thought about becoming a pharmacist or want to find out what a pharmacy technician does, sign up for the presentation in the Distance Learning Lab on Friday, November 20. There is a huge demand for students interested in this field. Sign up outside room 200 and get all your questions answered.

Also, if you have ever thought of starting your own business, come to the distance learning lab on Wednesday, November 18 during sixth period listen to Cameron Johnson explain the path to his huge success as a child and teenager in the business world. Congratulations on a great season to the girls and boys soccer teams. The girls made it to playoffs but lost in the first round. The boys made it to round four and narrowly lost to Bay Village 2-1.

Congratulations to the Rocky River Speech and Debate team for placing third this past weekend at Edison High School. A special congratulations to Brian Thorn, Henry Nisiobincki, Loren Reash Henz, Heather Lorman, Kelsey Glencer, Heidi Olander, Harris Bransch, and Jake Thorn for all placing in the top five of their respective events.

Driftwood will meet tomorrow during seminar in Mrs. Voight's room. Stop by after school if you cannot make it.

This is an important notice for all seniors interested in doing a Senior Project: Meetings will be held during seminar the week of November 2. If you signed up in your English class, you will be receiving a meeting notice. Seniors will be meeting on different days in small groups. One representative and one alternate will be chosen to participate in this amazing event.
