Attention Sophomores: Jostens will be here to take your class ring orders on Wednesday, October 7 during the lunch periods in the Wagar Lobby. Rings will be on display on Wednesday and extra order packets are available in the main office.

Conditioning and open gyms for girls basketball will begin on Monday, October 12. Please check the RRHS athletics website for dates and times.

There is a mandatory meeting for anyone interested in wrestling this year on Wednesday, October 7 during seminar in room 212. Please see Coach Tuokkola at your earliest convenience in room 212 if you have a class during seminar.

There is a sign up sheet for all interested girls lacrosse players in the athletic office.

Attention Juniors and Sophomores: Remember to register for the PSAT and the PLAN tests this week in the Guidance Office. The deadline is this Friday, October 9.

Your German "Fakt des Tages" for National German Week is: Otto von Bismarck, known as The Iron Chancellor of Germany, oversaw the unification of Germany in 1871 and was responsible for the development of social insurance programs such as health, accident, old age, and disability insurance. There would be no "public option" health care debate were it not for Otto von Bismarck!

Attention Spanish Club: There is an important meeting after school in Senorita Barkin's room on Thursday, October 15. We will take the final vote on t-shirt designs and plan dia de los muertos events. If you want to participate in dia de los muertos you must attend this meeting.

There is a Key Club meeting this Thursday, October 8 at 7:30 a.m. in the study hall room. There will be bagels!

There is an Environmental Club meeting on Wednesday, October 7 after school in room 206. Please attend if you were a club member last year or if you are interested in joining the club. The club focuses on recycling paper, batteries, bottles and cans, and works in the community to clean up our local beaches and to address other environmental issues like invasive species. Please see Mrs. Borgia if you are interested but cannot attend Wednesday's meeting.
